Much like our involvement with the DDG-1000, Abasco was asked to build critical elements of the propulsion system for these ships. These systems take our skilled fabricators the better part of a year to build complete. The first ones we built were tested for structural integrity with C4 explosives to simulate a torpedo or missile strike. They passed with flying colors.
