The most advanced naval warfare vessel in the U.S. Navy’s Arsenal, Abasco was critical in the fabrication of key components for the propulsion systems of this ship and her sister ships, the DDG-1001 USS Michael Monsoor and DDG-1002 USS Lyndon B. Johnson. We set up and managed an international supply chain to procure the necessary materials to complete the job. Abasco is the only shop in the United States certified to build these systems, and one of only two shops in the entire world.
